Oggi ricomincio a lavorare in show-room. La campagna vendite Autunno/Inverno 2011/2012 è alle porte, tutti fremono. Ho già la testa piena di vestiti. E ne son già stufa.
Ok, era per sfogarmi.
Mentre arrivavo a Milano in treno, oltre a ripetere a me stessa che NON potevo farcela, ho pensato alla tappa della competition.
Mi è venuto in mente un sole primaverile ed una città elegante.
Qualcosa che sembra scontato ma non lo è.
Today I start working again in showroom; Autumn/Winter 2011/2012 Sales Campaign starts in a few days. Everybody is thrilling (not me).
I already have my mind full of clothes. And I already got bored.
Ok, it was just to let off steam.
While I was coming to Milan by train, apart from repeating myself that I just could NOT make it, I thought about the next stage of the competition.
It will be about a spring sunny day in an elegant city. Something which looks like ordinary, but it is actually not.
Ma prima, gli accessori:
Due mini-regole (mie...ma anche no):
1) io non indosserei MAI un paio di scarpe in fantasia (le uniche eccezioni sono i pois - presi con moderazione - e l' animal print - zebrato escluso), nè tantomeno porterei una borsa con una fantasia evidente (anche in questo caso ci sono delle eccezioni, come potrete vedere più avanti...). Preferisco giocare con le fantasie con accessori diversi: guanti, cappelli, foulards, calze;
2) gli accessori in fantasia non vanno MAI mischiati e abbinati tra loro, ne tantomeno agli abiti che indossate (esempio: se porto una borsa a pois, non va abbinata alle scarpe e/o ad un abito a pois o in altre fantasie). Questo perchè una bella fantasia deve risaltare e non essere confusa tra le altre. Si può scegliere, però, un colore forte o particolare che serva a far emergere la fantasia.
Firstable, accessories.
Two little rules (my rules, but for everybody...):
1) I would NEVER wear fantasy printed shoes (some exceptions could be dots - carefully worn - and animal print, zebra-striped excluded) and I would never wear a fantasy printed bag (also in this case there are some exceptions as you can see going ahead).I choose graphical and fantasy patterns for other kinds of accessories: gloves, hats, foulards, socks;
2) printed accessories have not to be combined together and to the clothes you're wearing (for instance: If I am wearing a dotted bag, I cannot wear dotted shoes and/or a dotted - or printed in any case - dress).
This is very important because a graphical pattern must stand out (and not to be mixed up with other colors or fantasies). You can always wear a strong color dress which helps you in highlighting the graphical pattern you are wearing.

Ed ora, la competition:
LOCATION: Parigi. Primavera. Siete in viaggio con le amiche, per trovare tra i deliziosi negozi di Montmartre un meraviglioso abito da sposa per una di loro, che si sposerà a breve.
Trovate un giusto look da giorno per camminare, guardare le vetrine e pranzare in un bistrot di Montmartre: non si sa mai, nella città più romantica del mondo è più facile trovare la propria anima gemella!
REGOLE PER LA CREAZIONE DEL LOOK: dovrete includere almeno un capo a pois, o tartan o in fantasia (vietati fiori e animal print, permesse solo le fantasie "astratte"). Gli accessori sono liberi, i jeans vietati.
MODALITA': potrete creare i set utilizzando Polyvore o Looklet.
TEMPO A DISPOSIZIONE: avrete tempo fino a domenica 23/01/2011, ore 24,00.
PREMI: un piccolo oggetto vintage alla prima arrivata;
PUNTI: +10 alla prima, +5 alla seconda, +3 alla terza.
And now, the competition:
LOCATION: Paris. Spring time. You are travelling with some friends with the aim of finding a beautiful wedding dress for one of them in one little shop in Montmartre.
Try to find the perfect outfit to walk in the streets, look at the shop windows and have lunch at one of the nice Montmartre bistrot. Be careful: in the most romantic city of the world, it is easier to find the love of your life!
RULES: you must include at least one dotted piece, or one tartan piece or one printed piece (no animal print and flowers). No jeans allowed.
PROCEDURE: you can create a look by using polyvore or looklet.
TIMING: you have time up to Sunday January, 23rd, 12 p.m.
PRIZES: a little vintage accessory to the winner;
POINTS: +10 to the winner, +5 to the second, +3 to the third.
